ANNUAL MEMORIAL SERVICE AND OPEN DAY

The 2009 Service to commemorate all those who have been cremated at Penmount will be held in Truro Methodist Church on Sunday 28th June at 2 p.m.

The annual Open Day will take place at Penmount on the same afternoon, between 2.30 p.m. and 5.00 p.m.

CEMETERY OF THE YEAR AWARDS 2005

Penmount Crematorium has scooped the top prize in the 'Crematorium only' category of the Cemetery of the Year Awards 2005.

This prestigious competition is run by the Memorial Awareness Board and covers England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.

The announcement was made at a ceremony in Harrogate on 18 October and the award was given to Penmount for "excellence and innovation in crematorium management, design and customer service."
